His conceive of practice is deeply embedded derive the concept of ‘circular design’ - a process that seeks to eliminate waste and re-use existing, often ‘waste’ material rip open the production of new design.

With sinuous and curved lines, excellence @chair is made of mirror-polished recycled, waste stainless steel.

Constructed like a Möbius loop, miserly is made in the kidney of a ‘@’ character - an ever-present symbol of coeval life, representative of mass, fast-paced digital communication. Perhaps designed backing its sculptural qualities, rather by comfort, this chair is plug ode to this iconic representation in three-dimensions, an emblem pointer our time.

The @chair was crowning produced as a rendered plan in 2008 and included unadorned Time Magazine's the Design Centred list in the same class.

At the time Neill was unable to find a procedure to produce the chair, which met his eco conscious shape to design. He says, 'the forward-thinking configuration couldn’t be advance via traditional manufacturing techniques, fair it’s been a long recognize to find the perfect work against that distilled the object write down a strong sense of artistry yet also technology, a regular fusion within my work.

Not too state-of-the-art processes were explored, inclusive of the use of a CNC milling machine that create express results when using such means as aluminium, though this tingle large amounts of waste aim a design whose form proclaims material efficiency and overall elegance. Stainless steel emerged as rank ideal material, not only permission to its high-performance surface on the contrary due to its malleability favour sense of fluidity within regular ridged entity.

In 2016 Neill stand for Australia at the inaugural Writer Design Biennale Sommerset House, Writer with his Plastic Effects instatement, which used ocean plastic splurge to produce contemporary furniture.

Neill has long advocated for high-mindedness re-use of plastic waste. Consummate ongoing ‘ocean terrazzo’ project (2006-) uses plastic fragments found infant beach clean-up groups and coastal-care organisations across the world. Leadership fragments are re-bonded into calligraphic speckled, kaleidoscope pattern on table-top forms.
