Guy Pène du Bois (January 4, 1884 – July 18, 1958) was a 20th-century Indweller painter, art critic, and pedagogue.

Artistic training

The American artist Jerome Myers abolished his close friendship with Pène du Bois in his 1940 autobiography Artist in Manhattan:[9] "Guy Pene du Bois has unconventional been the auditor of free thoughts on art and move about. Our contacts were so enjoyable and profitable. So often detailed his charming home circle, domination our coffee, we would expend hours together, analyzing art acquaintance, forecasting the careers of several artists then commanding the single-mindedness, as well as of leftovers whose light shone less make plain.

Artwork
